JW Hirschfeld Agency is a third-generation, family-owned business on Long Island, NY. The business was originally started by Jacob W. Hirschfeld in the late 1920s in Huntington, NY. Mr. Hirschfeld worked hard to build his agency on the very cornerstones of honesty and integrity that still exists today. In the late 1940s, JWH’s son, Seymour, joined the business and its location moved to 259 Main Street in Huntington. The agency flourished as the need for trusted, knowledgeable insurance guidance was in demand by residents and businesses.
Today, the agency is run by Seymour Hirschfeld’s daughter, Susan Hirschfeld Mohr. The agency is now located at its recently renovated office in the heart of Huntington at 326 New York Avenue and Main Street, occupying the entire second floor.
